Tour Overview
Kanazawa is a city steeped in samurai tradition. For nearly 300 years, starting with Maeda Toshiie during the Warring States period, generations of feudal lords carefully nurtured the city’s unique samurai culture. In the Samurai Martial Arts Course, visitors have the rare opportunity to discover the roots of Kanazawa’s heritage by practicing the martial arts and tea ceremonies cherished by the feudal lords and samurai of the past. During the Kyudo (Japanese archery) experience, you will learn directly from masters how to handle the bow.
-
