This program invites students to step into the refined world of Kanazawa’s geisha – traditional female performing artists who have mastered classical dance, shamisen music, and the art of hospitality.
Designed for educational travel and school groups, this version focuses on cultural learning and interaction, paired with matcha green tea and handmade Japanese sweets.

The experience takes place in a historic townhouse officially designated as a "Kanazawa Machiya." The building has been carefully renovated to preserve its traditional architectural techniques and unique features. Before the experience begins, we will give you a tour of the entire house so that you can enjoy its charm and its historical value.
This program helps students understand the important role of geisha in Japanese performing arts and the refined tradition of hospitality. They will learn basic Japanese etiquette and performance elements through direct interaction and hands-on practice. Students will also experience the beauty of Machiya Finally, the program encourages reflection on the preservation of cultural heritage and its relevance in modern society, fostering global awareness and intercultural respect. Photography is welcome throughout the experience. We also invite you to capture a special moment with a geisha in a memorable photo after the event.

*Up until two persons ¥147,000.
An additional fee of ¥3,000 is charged for each additional person.
*Children aged 6 and under are free of charge. (We are unable to provide dinner for children, but you are welcome to bring your own food.)
*There is an additional charge of 13,000 yen for guides in languages other than English.

If we are unable to accept the reservation due to availability, the full deposit will be refunded.(The handling charge will be covered by us.)
