  • Yes. The tour is exclusively for your group and is not combined with other guests.

• What can we see on a 6-hour Kanazawa walking tour?

  • The standard route includes Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle Park, Oyama Shrine, the Higashi Chaya geisha district and the Nagamachi samurai district. The route can be customized.

• Is lunch included?

  • Yes. A local lunch is included. The restaurant and menu depend on availability, the tour route and your dietary requirements.

• Can the itinerary be customized?

  • Yes. We can adjust the itinerary according to your interests, walking pace, weather and seasonal conditions. Please send us your requests before the tour.

• Where does the tour start?

  • The standard meeting point is Kenrokuen Garden. Another convenient location in central Kanazawa may be arranged in advance.

• Does the guide speak English?

  • Yes. English-speaking guides are available. Japanese and French guides are also available, subject to confirmation.

• How much walking is involved?

  • The tour involves a moderate amount of walking over approximately six hours, with breaks for lunch and sightseeing. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

• Is the tour suitable for children and older travelers?

  • Yes. Because the tour is private, the walking pace and itinerary can be adjusted. Please tell us in advance about children, mobility requirements or other considerations.

• What happens if it rains?

  • The tour normally operates in light rain. The route may be adjusted according to the weather. Please bring suitable rainwear and comfortable footwear.

• How far in advance should we book?

  • We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during the cherry blossom season, autumn foliage season and other busy travel periods.
