Your journey begins along the serene Tedori River—also the namesake of a renowned local sake—before heading up to Shishiku Hill. From here, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of terraced rice fields, seasonal blooms, and the charming townscape below. You’ll visit the ancient Shirayama Hime Jinja Shrine, founded over 2,100 years ago and a revered spiritual base for mountain pilgrims. Known locally by the nickname Shirayama-san, this grand shrine protects the entire Hokuriku region and stands as the head shrine for all Hakusan and Shirayama shrines across Japan.
At the hill’s summit, explore a fascinating museum showcasing a large, intricately carved wooden lion head used in lively local festivals. *Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for cycling.
*Don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes if necessary.
*For safety reasons, participants under 140 cm in height won’t be able to join this tour due to bicycle size restrictions.

9:15-10:00 Cycling along Tedori River and rice field
10:00-11:00 Shirayama Hime Shrine
11:00-12:30 Cycling up to Shishiku Hill then come back to Tsurugi Station
